Hello! My name is
SUBRODIP
ROY
Student, builder, citizen of Earth.
Eighteen. Class 11 — PCM, CBSE. Preparing for JEE & BITSAT 2028, aiming for computer science at a tier-1 Indian university. Then: whatever comes after.
About
I'm Subrodip. Eighteen, in Class 11, and stubbornly curious about almost everything that runs the world or sits above it.
My days split between PCM textbooks and a wider self-directed curriculum: technology, science, the cosmos, economics, politics, history, governance. They aren't separate subjects to me. They're different lenses on one question — how does the world work, and how can it work better?
The near plan is simple: stay grounded in the basics, sit JEE Advanced and BITSAT in 2028, and earn a place to study computer science at a tier-1 Indian university. What happens after that is unknown — and that's the part I'm most excited about.
Outside the books: music played loud, films and games I think about long after, and a daily habit of current affairs.
Curiosities
What I keep coming back to.
Sciences & Systems
How the world works, from quarks to incentives.
Technology
How the tools we build quietly redraw what people can do.
Science
First principles, patient experiments, clear sentences.
Computers
Languages, systems, and getting machines to think with us.
Cosmos
Scale that humbles. The night sky is the first physics textbook.
Economics
Incentives, trade-offs, and the invisible architecture of choice.
People & Power
The long arc of who decides what, and who lives with it.
Politics
How power moves, who it reaches, and who it forgets.
Human history
The same dramas, new costumes. A library of warnings and proofs.
Governance
The hard, unsexy craft of designing systems that hold under pressure.
Art & Wonder
The fastest routes from a thought to a feeling.
Music
The fastest route I know from a thought to a feeling.
Films & games
Worlds built carefully enough to walk inside, and remember.
Journey
The known steps to the gate. Beyond it, the story is unwritten.
The Foundation
Physics, chemistry, math. The slow work of turning hard problems into fluent answers.
The Gate
JEE Advanced. BITSAT. Two exams. Months of work distilled into hours. Show up prepared.
What Comes Next
Computer science at a tier-1 Indian university. Build for India, build for Earth.
